How TechNurture collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: September 2026
Who we are
This policy applies to Tech Nurture Pty Ltd (ABN 58 687 827 845), known as TechNurture (“we”, “us”, “our”), and to our website, technurture.com.au. We’re a Sydney-based digital agency. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What personal information we collect
We only collect what we need. This may include:
- Contact details: your name, business name, email address, phone number and website address.
- Enquiry details: what you tell us in a form, an email, a phone call or a meeting, such as what your business does, where it operates and which services interest you.
- Newsletter details: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Booking details: if you book a meeting with us through Calendly, your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you tell us in the booking.
- Client details: billing and account details, and the information we need to deliver our services.
- Website usage information: the pages you visit, your device and browser, your approximate location (such as your city), and how you found us (for example through Google, an ad or ChatGPT). This is collected with cookies and similar tools, and it doesn’t usually identify you directly.
You can browse our website without telling us who you are. To send you a quote or a free AI Visibility Check, we need your contact details.
How we collect it
- From you, when you fill in a form, subscribe to our newsletter, email or call us, or book a meeting.
- Automatically, through cookies, analytics and advertising tags on our website (see below).
- From public sources, such as your website, business listings and AI search results, when we prepare an AI Visibility Check you’ve asked for.
- From systems you give us access to, such as your website, Google Ads, ChatGPT Ads or analytics accounts. We only access the information we need to do the work you’ve asked for.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare your free AI Visibility Check
- To provide, manage and invoice our services
- To send you our newsletter or updates, if you’ve asked for them
- To understand how people use our website and to improve it
- To measure our own advertising, for example whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to send an enquiry
- To meet our legal obligations
We don’t sell your personal information.
Our website forms
When you send us a form on our website, your answers are emailed to our team and may also be kept on our website. Our emails, including the ones our website sends, go through Microsoft 365. When you request a free AI Visibility Check, we don’t store your IP address or browser details with your request.
Cookies, analytics and advertising tags
Our website uses:
- Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit), to understand how visitors use the site.
- A Google Ads tag, to measure how our Google ads perform, for example whether a visit from an ad led to an enquiry.
- Google’s user-provided data collection: when you send a form, the Google tag may send a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address or phone number to Google, to help measure our ads more accurately.
- Google reCAPTCHA, if we use it on a form, to block spam. It checks whether a visitor is a person and sends information about your device and how you use the page to Google.
- Calendly, if you open our booking page. Calendly uses its own cookies to run the booking.
- Essential cookies from our website platform and our host (SiteGround), which help the site load quickly and securely.
These tools may use cookies and send information about your visit to the companies that provide them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, manage ad personalisation at myadcenter.google.com, and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only when we need to, with:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (SiteGround), Microsoft (our email), Google (analytics and advertising), Calendly (meeting bookings) and our accounting software provider
- Contractors in Australia who help us deliver client projects, under confidentiality obligations
- Anyone we’re required to share it with by law
Information stored overseas
Some of our service providers, such as Google and Calendly, store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we use AI tools
We use AI tools in our work, for example to help analyse search results or draft reports. We never enter clients’ personal or confidential information into AI tools that use it to train their models.
How we keep it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. That includes secure hosting, limiting who can access it, and strong passwords with two-factor authentication where available. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we’ll tell you and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails if you’ve agreed to receive them. Every marketing email tells you how to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first. We’ll look into it and reply within 30 days. If you’re not happy with our response, you may be able to contact the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
